The Tragedy of the Global Commons

So, you're walking down the street when out of nowhere you get jumped. The gang drag you down a lane, start pushing you around, and screaming all sorts of terrifying things: if you don't do what we say you are going to die and your family will die. Just stop moving, give us your wallet and everything will be fine. You don't want people to get hurt, do you?! Stop struggling, stop moving.
This is exactly what's happening on national and global levels. The pockets of taxpayers all over the world have been emptied of billions and the extortioners have secured promises of more "or else". These guys are shaking us down and FAR TOO many people think "if we just do what we're told it'll all be fine" - I can assure you that it won't be fine.
These thieves are restricting your freedom for their benefit not yours. You are "not allowed" to object to this treatment. You have to ask where they got the power to tell me and mine what they can and can't do, who they can and can't see, where they can and can't go? Collective Stockholm Syndrome means that your traumatised fellows are more terrified of those trying to save them than their own captors and now work with their kidnappers to quash dissent.
The Master taught that you cannot rob the house of a strong man unless you tie him up first and we are being bound up with draconian legislation, threatened with fines and imprisonment at every turn, forced to endure ever greater restrictions and we are being fed the lies that "this is for your own good." But who is really profiting from this? Big Tech and supra-national corporations and they have zero financial incentive to restore things to the way they were and if restoring our rights adversely impacts their profits then the incentive is to maintain the restrictions on our rights.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, your life is not made safer when people take away your rights. Anyone seeking to do that is your enemy, not your friend.
People are being pushed into greater and greater dependence. The bit put aside for the rainy day is being devoured and soon people will be forced to accept the terms and conditions being enforced by corporate thugs and their political henchmen and economic slavery beckons.
When these thugs talk about sustainability they mean sustainable profits. Personal independence and national self reliance is a threat to their business model and needs to be "managed" out of existence. Do you really believe that the people who have gone to so much effort to con you out of your rights will just give them back? Your rights are worth money, serious money - they are a source of tremendous power - you won't get them back without a fight.

To Conquer and Conquering

Many years ago the Spirit of Truth/Holy Spirit came to me and established me in the Kingdom. The night that it fell upon me it illuminated my mind with many amazing things. One revelation communicated was the correlation between the fundamental dynamics of the living cell and the Trinity. A cell has 3 key elements: DNA, RNA, and Enzymes. In this moment of revelation I was taught to see DNA as reflective of the Father, that RNA reflects the Son, while the Enzymes reflect the action of the Infinite Spirit. Interestingly, the RNA communicates information from the DNA to the Enzymes which then builds as instructed. It certainly wouldn’t surprise believers to note there are many interesting scientific and spiritual correlations between the fundamentals of the living cell and the Trinity core of all reality. I always thought that this was a strange revelation to present. At the time I was knee deep in scripture and many of my revelations had a strong religious flavour to them which is why this seemed strikingly peculiar. However, in light of recent events, there may have been more to this.

Over the last while I’ve been seeing more and more about messenger RNA - mRNA - and I find it jarring because it links back so viscerally to that momentous night.

When I was being schooled in scripture by my hardcore Bible believing brother in Christ, there were a few things that stood out – one of which was the distortion of the gospel by Catholicism. My friend especially detested the concept of the Pope for establishing himself as a ‘Vicarious-Christi’ – an alternative Christ. From the Protestant, and most Christians perspective, there is only One mediator between Man and God and that is Christ Jesus, and I have often reflected on how Jesus is to us the Word of God, even as RNA is the Word of DNA [G,T,A,C].

The Protestant tradition regards anything that seeks to supplant the role of Jesus between us and the Father as Satanic [rightly so] and, it seems to me, that these alternative RNA devices are, in a sense, attempting to supplant or replace the Son but at a genetic level. In a sense, this mRNA would be like a ‘false son’ and given the deviation from the divine order this could have catastrophic implications for those who partake in it. It is difficult to see how this deviation from the fundamental dynamics of our genetic structure could have anything but calamitous outcomes. There can be only one true Word of God, in him is salvation and outside of him can no salvation be found. Consequently, I suspect that those who seek salvation through the vaccine will, in fact, be embracing doom.

It certainly looks like the vaccine is likely ramp up the function of the virus amplifying the fatalities associated with it one hundred fold during the next cold & flu season. This seems to put bones onto John’s point about the Horseman coming ‘to conquer and conquering’ – implying almost two phases, the first phase being the announcement of its coming and spread across the world and the second phase where the death promised will be realised.

A Tale as old as Time

The fundamental dynamics of the relationship between an abuser and its victim can be found replicated between a government and its people. There is a huge trust relationship and a tremendous imbalance of power between the individual and the State and our ancestors, who were so often subject to an incredible amount of abuse at the hands of the State, have endeavoured to correct this imbalance through devices like a Constitution. When the government of a nation has become corrupt things like a Constitution are problematic. Consequently, malevolent state actors will intentionally seek to remove restraints on their action. They will often do this by so orchestrating events such that the victim/citizen will positively BEG the abuser/State to behave in the way the corrupt State actors wish to behave [Problem/Reaction/Solution]. And so, malevolent state actors will shamelessly and with wicked intent contrive scenarios where the villain will appear as a hero all the while secretly undermining the victim – leaving them perilously exposed.

And just like the victim whose good nature and idealistic vision of people finds it difficult to conceive that they are in a relationship with a genuinely abusive person, so the unwary citizen can be duped into thinking that the state is acting with their best interests at heart. Alas, waking up to the disturbing truth often occurs far too late and the abuse continues far longer than it should have because of the blindness of the citizen.

The story plays out nationally exactly as it does personally. Friends and family of the victim get involved because they care about their loved one and they despise the abuser. So they remonstrate with their loved one, ‘S/he’s a monster/a bad egg/you have to leave him/her’ but the frightened victim clings to their abuser all the more while the villain vilifies family and friends, casting aspersions on their character – isolating the victim and cutting them off from sources of support and increasing dependence on the abuser. This exact scenario is what occurs when patriots speak out in defence of the nation that they love. The abusive state depicts its critics as destroyers, not to be trusted, and wickedly intentioned - accolades which in truth belong to the ‘established authorities.’

Wherever there exists a tremendous imbalance of power, like between the state and the citizen, the temptations of the possible personal rewards to be accrued are very great and highly attractive to self-serving individuals and corrupt cartels. But rolling back on constitutional protections is not a path to peace, safety, and security. It is, without question and every single time it is indulged, a direct path to shame, destruction, despair and horror. All those who say otherwise are liars, thieves, and abusers of life and liberty and they cannot be trusted. Right now, for the first time in human history, the whole world has entered into an abusive relationship. The devastation will, likewise, undoubtedly be global.

Perhaps, when all this is done, some form of global constitution will be formed and the human race will learn to enshrine the sacredness of life, liberty, and the freedom to pursue happiness. Perhaps it will address and correct the imbalance of power between the citizen and the state, the consumer and the corporation, society and social media. Perhaps the world will learn the only cure for political treachery is lead and enact it quickly before these fools destroy us all. Perhaps, like the abuse survivor who emerges from the abusive relationship wiser and stronger – pledging to themselves to never entertain an abuser again, the whole world will finally learn how to protect itself from the wicked intentions and machinations of malevolent beings and, consequently, learn to live in peace and prosperity.

We’ve got a lot to learn and don’t we just love to learn the hard way?! God have mercy on us all.

The Remembrance Supper - a proposal

I have long reflected on the Eucharist and its central role it is supposed to play in the spiritual life of The Everlasting Temple that is the family of the children of God. I find it peculiar that this most precious sacrament of communion appears to be somewhat neglected among the readership. I don’t understand why we don’t have regular or, at least semi-regular, Remembrance Suppers. I propose holding virtual Remembrance Suppers and maintaining them until we are in a position to sit down together as Jesus did with his brothers the night he inaugurated the ritual. I will explain my thinking on this.

Firstly, let us look at the roots of the Christian communal worship experience - the invitation to the Supper. Jesus always taught, ‘ALL that will may come,’ he did not say, ‘All that will may come…EXCEPT…[insert marginalised group of individual preference here].’ In willingly inviting even the Betrayer to the Supper Jesus disallowed all forms prejudice at his Table. It always seemed to me that if Jesus was willing to sit down and sup with the man who was that very night going to bring about his destruction – he established that everyone is welcome at his Table; and it’s not our Table, it’s His. His Table. His rules. Therefore all are welcome: divorcee’s, homosexuals, transgender, travellers, rich and poor, foreigner and patriot, friends and enemies, ‘ALL who will may come.’

The Passover Supper was traditionally quite a feed; a good party, with good food, good wine and good chat, a celebration of liberty. However, this cannot be just a party, its purpose is spiritual – to nurture the soul and promote spiritual growth – the focus is Jesus, his life and teachings.

The life and teachings of Jesus, the whole spectacle, is designed to reveal the nature and character of the Father on Paradise to His children here on earth; even the life that we can aspire to live – it not only reveals God to man but man to God, reveals to an onlooking universe the life of the true child of God. The life of Jesus, his whole life, from first breath to last, was a bestowal of the Bread of Heaven.

When he “broke the bread and gave it to his apostles, saying take this and eat it” the bread was a symbol of the life that he had lived being given to us as a gift that could nourish us spiritually. Jesus taught us that ‘man cannot live by bread alone.’ The bread he gave was the bread of the inspirational life he lived among us – a life of faith, love, and service. He asked that “whensoever you do this” [no time specified – that was left up to us] “remember the life I lived among you”’ and how it was lived[1], to freely partake in the spiritual nourishment to be found in such a life of faith, love, and service; to share with one another the Bread we have found in him and through him; to share the inspiration, hope, enlightenment, courage, and strength we have found in reflecting upon the life of love and service he lived among us and for us.

Even the ‘breaking’ of the bread is symbolic of focusing on parts of his life – not trying to eat the whole loaf in one go!

He has invited us to talk, chat, share, enlighten, illuminate, to gratefully receive from others the enlightenment and illumination that they have acquired as they have journeyed with Jesus in their lives; to come to the Table as a child, to be open, cheerful, hopeful, eager, trusting, positive, grateful, humble, service oriented, earnest, ready to share everything and freely partake of the spiritual nourishment to be found in the Master’s life and at the Master’s Table.

When we, in faith, reach into the Basket of the life and teachings of Jesus we never come away empty handed. Further, we are not spiritually diminished when we share from our own spiritual storehouse the Bread that nourishes us. Moreover, we are enriched, for it is more blessed to give than to receive.

The ‘Wine’ is the symbol of service. Wine, as we know, is made from grapes and, in this case, the spiritual wine we offer one another comes from the ‘fruits of the spirit’. Personally strengthened through the Bread, we are spiritually empowered to go forth and ‘bear the fruits of the spirit’, to be kind, gentle, humble, forgiving, to forebear under provocation, to be tolerant of human weakness and have faith in the possibilities inherent in human divine co-operation, to turn away wrath with a soft word, to go the extra mile, to give the shirt off our backs – if need be, to strive to make this world a better place even as we strive to improve ourselves, to prove to the world that love is stronger than hate, righteousness greater than wickedness; to so live our lives that all whom we encounter are enriched; to abide in and allow our lives be illuminated by his ideal of living, ‘to love one another even as I have loved you’.

Jesus invites us into a life of devoted service born of sincere love. We follow one for whom the Father’s Will is the centre and circumference of his whole existence and he invites us to make the Father’s Will the centre and circumference of our life. To thus live in genuine kindness, humble before the Lord, gentle in all our ways, to serve our fellows with sincere and unselfish love, is to exalt (raise up) and glorify the life of the Son. That is inspired living. That is inspirational living.

Did you know that before Christians were called Christians they were known as the Pneumakoi? That means ‘the inspired’, pretty cool. Inspired living is an attractive way of life and I think we need this now more than ever.

As I see it, towards the end of the meal, we could use it as an opportunity to offer service of some kind to some individual or group, that before we leave the table we would pledge to actually do something for the benefit of another or for the benefit of the group. This simple model works effectively no matter how large the group. It offers intimacy and immediacy, it marries insight to service, allows the rubber of spiritual inspiration meet the road of selfless social service, and it does all this over dinner with friends. Thus when the meal finally ends can we honestly say, ‘Go your way in peace, to love and serve the Lord.’

In a real world setting, the model could be adjusted so that we could render it capable of serving whole communities, the nation, and even the world; that could offer a viable spiritual alternative that is in keeping with the teachings of the New Testament – at least as I interpret them. It struck me that the model of ‘The Wedding Feast’ would be the ideal pattern upon which to build an expanded or expanding fellowship. However, this being a meal of spiritual communion, the excesses normally associated with weddings would not be appropriate, but music, dancing and singing are, indeed ‘there is a time for every thing.’ The format is familiar the world over; as soon as the meal is over there’s a short break and the room is rearranged for dancing, the band arrives and the celebration continues. It is appropriate to give thanks and praise, to celebrate the gift of life, to offer up our laughter and the sweat of our dancing. Further, as a wedding sized group it would be appropriate to use one’s God given talents in music, song, poetry, or what have you, to bring joy to the group and praise for the Father, to enrich the occasion in a way that seems most fitting for the occasion.

The details of location, food, and music could easily be worked out by a steering committee. Each table should have a Facilitator to help move the conversation along. As it resembles a wedding, one could imagine a Best Man saying a few words for the Groom [Jesus, of course] and perhaps a Bridesmaid speaking for the Bride [the Church/congregation], this is just a suggestion. In essence their contributions could be a keynote address that offers pointers for conversations. Unless the speakers are able public speakers one imagines that these speeches would be kept short, humorous, enlightening, and informative. Like all weddings, someone has to pay for them, therefore a donation for the ‘Bride & Groom’ would be appropriate. Any surplus funds can be disbursed towards disposing the various service plans and projects agreed upon at dinner.

The convenient thing about this model is that almost anyone anywhere can apply it. You do not need any special theological or religious training. Such events can be run independently of one another and, generally, would not require any oversight except in the responsible management of donations. Such events can begin anywhere, one can easily imagine interested parties offering to host dinner in their own home – going from one members home to the other in an effort to share the load, bearing in mind that such things need not be held on a weekly basis but as suits. As groups get larger, the various hosts can come together to see about co-ordinating larger events.

These groups would be about celebrating the life of Jesus and the truths of the gospel, not conversion. As Jesus said, ‘All that will may come.’ This modality would be ideal for inter-denominational communion and could go a long way toward achieving ecumenical goals. Further, the model could be adjusted for individuals of different faiths to sit together and share the inspiration they have found within their own traditions. This would be in keeping with the model of church I have outline in my previous article. This type of supper, the multi/interdenominational, I would call ‘The Light Supper’ as we would be sharing the inspiration [the spiritual light] we have found in differing traditions.

I feel this concept has great potential for revitalising communal worship in the wider community, if not the whole world. I am open to any feedback anyone would care to share. If you have managed to read this far, well done and thanks! ;-)
